  1. You did a very good job of explaining this RT AC68U , but can I use an non ASUS router or Repeater or extender? I have several TP-LINK's and Im having loads of problems connecting them. You should open a HELPDESK store at $5.00 a month, you'd kick but

  2. Hello, I am looking for a new router for my office. I have 3 1000Mb LAN computers, and about 100 sq.m. I also want usb 3.0 to connect HDD storage for acces from my home. Now I am choousing between AC68 and new models AC85, 86. First is old but popular. Cons – slow USB 3.0 speed (and with "2.4 wifi limitiation" it is the same as 2.0. new 85-86 routers are expensive, but not top=models as 68 was in the past. And yes – they work faster with 3.0 hdds. But, as I understand they are "gaming routers". Are they OK as office routers?
help me please AC68 or something newer from 80's line?

  3. Not sure if you check this but i just got this router and after a week the WAN light is red and i get no internet. did a factory reset as well as firmware update and nothing helps.

  4. Thanks for incredible review! Would have been nice to see detail of the DHCP status page (didn't even see such a page) showing connected devices, since this is after all a router, but hard to complain!

  5. That is one fine review.
I don't have that router.. I intend to purchase it
Is it a good idea today? or there is a better value to money router I should consider?
    Thanks

  6. I am planning to buy this router.

Can it limit internet speed to specific clients?

I have guests and I don't want them to use too much of my Internet speed so I would like to limit everyone''s internet speed besides mine.
