  1. I bought the smaller version of the Velop and I’m very impressed by the Wi-Fi coverage in the entire house. I bought the 3-pack and I have all three set up. Is worth the money if you’re having issues with your internet in the house. Sometimes I could be on the street, inside of the car and still have full signal from the Wi-Fi!

  2. Hands down the best router I’ve owned. imgs.love/lVelopRouter?Aた Doubled my current Mbps when added to existing triband Velop system. New Wifi 6 model now serves as parent. Generating 700 Mbps in a very WiFi-saturated townhouse development. I get the same consistent signal from the first floor to the third. Backhauled connections to two child nodes with green switch incorporated into the mix. Worth every penny!

  3. Trash! Don’t waste your money or time. Bought this and setup was easy. Problem is I cannot get devices to connect to the closest node. Called Linksys tech support twice, first time they had me go into WiFi setting in devices (Smart TV, Ring Doorbell…) and ignore the WiFi then reconnect to the WiFi with the assumption the devices will connect to the strongest signal, and it worked for about 12 hours. Next call to Linksys support they listen to the problem, ask a few questions then put me on hold for several minutes…..get back on the line to tell me they are aware of the issue and working on it but they have no fix at the moment. I paid $229.00 for this??? Sorry but that is a COMPLETE JOKE OF A COMPANY! Tech support was very friendly but the product is trash.

  4. Whenever mine are plugged in the channel there on has a clarity rating of 1/10 all the time, but when there unplugged and im only using my main router the clarity is 10/10. Anyone know whats going on here???

  5. How do I set it up? Does it just plug into the modem and it works or do I have to call Optimum and give them serial numbers and such

  6. Just bought the 2 pack at Home Depot since it was on sale for $99. Can’t be more impressed how much faster downloads are along with coverage. Should’ve bought the shelf to resell lol!

  7. Warning! Don't buy those things. Unless you want a Wi-Fi you need to restart at least once a day or manually do the channel search several times a day and your Wi-Fi speed is still way under 3G (even if you have fiber connected with 200/200), that is!

  8. Just a note, if your device is immediately next to your router the signal skyrockets. My router is 40 feet from my AppleTV and the speed is only 25-57mpbs. Six feet away from the router my iPad gets 237mbps on a 200mbps internet plant. If I got to one of my back bedrooms (the signal must go through two walls) it drops to 7-17mbps.

  9. I have virgin broadband with 350-400mps coming in, but the wireless is rubbish. For a 3 story 1900's house with copper tubing and large rooms, would you recommend the newer velop or the older one. As on the box it says these newer ones only give you 100mps?

  10. I have big trouble with velop. I cant use my wireless printers (epson & brother). Easy to connect but offline all the time. I dont know how to fix this problem. I google and found many people face trouble like me when using any brand of mesh wifi.

  11. I read quite some other reviews and note that, particularly from PCmag.com – most reviews say that the Velop dual-band AC1300 outperforms the Asus Lyra despite the former being cheaper and of lower specs on paper. Has this reviewer done a comparison & reached the same conclusion?
    Tx!

  12. Look at all the reviews… After about 6 months they seem to turn to crap. Mine drops connection all the time. And I have a computer hardwired to it. It has nothing to do with WiFi… It just kills itself and reboots at will.

  13. Hey, great Video. Are you already happy with Linksys? I need a new solution. I spent more than 500 euro for a new WiFi but it doesn’t work
