  1. I just bought a Google Nest Mini and Phillips Hue BT kit as a Xmas present for some of my relatives. I set one up for my in-laws at the weekend and it took me almost 2 hours to get it all working, I have automated most of my home with products from many providers and I have a fair bit of experience with the technology. The Hue BT app connected at first but when I added the google assistant in the app it didn't work and I could no longer connect to the bulb with the phone by bluetooth. After a lot of trouble shooting I unpaired the bulb and deleted/reinstalled the app which then notified me of a firmware update and after completing it I got it all to work. I am still stumped as to how I can set up a routine in the Hue BT app as I cannot seem to find that option…some help or advice would be really appreciated.

  2. kuuwee coey: I know the process is kinda' crazy unless I'm doing something wrong, which I don't think I am. I can set up the light schedule to turn on my porch light at a certain time but the "turn room(s) off at" option at the bottom of the screen, where you can set a time, doesn't turn them off. I had to create a whole new schedule to turn off my porch light at a certain time. I couldn't do it with one schedule.

  3. Didn't work for me and when I called for help the customer "support" guy told me I couldn't use a hotmail account that I needed a g mail account. That was the first problem, he didn't even try to find out what was wrong cause he was too busy going through his script to LISTEN to what I was trying to tell him what product I had, what was happening or not, etc. I called back to try and speak to a supervisor, and the that time the guy was trying to troubleshoot the problem even though I said I wanted to speak to a supervisor and he too would not be quiet to listen to me. I am really not happy with this, it isn't easy, nor is trying to talk to the folks who are supposed to be customer service/support.
