So what set of smart home LED bulbs should you get? I’ve been using a variety of different smart home light bulbs over the last few months and I can tell you that …

  1. The 'third bulb' issue you were having with the Tradfri is of your own making. It requires you to turn off/remove all Tradfri bulbs apart from the one you're pairing in the instructions to avoid interference.

  2. What is this there’s no useful thing about this video nanoleaf is shit, where’s tp Link and Lifx there both been mentioned better than Phillips hue and I’ve there even heard of these budget brands and even if ur on a budget go with Wiz there amazing and ten times better then this nano leaf ikea shit

  3. Sorry to disagree with you about Philips Hue, mine do occasionally turn off by themselves when dimmed. Also I still can’t find a smart bulb that fits a medium socket or is small enough to fit in a small spot fixture. One final comment, the Hue bulbs are way overpriced for what you get.

  4. You should consider recreating this video now that things have changed with a lot of these bulbs. From what I understand, Ikea and Sylvania are now compatible with the Philips Hue bridge.

  5. Well you just won me over to Sub …. Look forward to Future vid's ps there is a way to bring the Ikea over in to your hue bridge its a little tricky but it does work.

  6. I disagree with your view on the ikea bulbs. I have several in my home, but I run them through my Samsung Smartthings system. It’s not native, and requires a little bit of work, but I had them up and running in about 10-20 minutes. And once they were set up, I was also able to use Alexa to control them, and have had no problems with it.

  7. Maybe you should update this to take into account Ikea's newer bulbs especially the new RGB kit as according to another video the newer bulbs have a firmware update to allow it to be used with Philips Hue system

  8. I bought only the Tradfri bulbs last weekend.. and hooked them up to Philips hue without the IKEA Hub. They are part of a ceiling fan ( 4 bulbs ) And I cannot group them.. but I have a problem grouping my hue lights as well.. just wanted to update you on that .. I can dim them verbally and turn them off verbally.. they are white so no color change is needed
