It will be ok for one room, but if you want it in every room of your house this will cause your problems: all the air that you block will have to go somewhere, on a pro multi zone systems you have a relief dampers and bypasses. Otherwise you going to hear a lot of whistling from registers and noise from a ductwork. Or maybe even create problems with your hvac unit just like a dirty blocked airfilter would.
